§ 10-47. Failure to release dog or cat to authorities.

  • Any person in control or possession of any dog or cat in violation, or suspected or alleged by formal complaint to be in violation of any provision of this article, who fails to release such dog or cat to any peace officer, humane officer, rabies control authority or public health officer of the city, upon demand by such officer, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, upon conviction, and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $200.00.
