§ 10-84. Seizure, impoundment of animals found in violation of article—Generally.

The director of public works shall seize or cause to be seized all animals found in violation of this article and impound all such animals at a suitable place. The director, any animal control officer, or any police officer of the city may enter any building to seize an animal which is therein in violation of this article upon the consent of an adult occupant of such building or one having the right of possession of such building, or under a warrant issued by a magistrate.
