§ 18-165. Application for registration of alarm services.

Application for registration of a burglar alarm protection service and any included burglar alarm system, or fire alarm protection service, and any included fire alarm system shall be made by a person having control over the property on which the alarm system is to be installed and operated or is being operated. Applications shall be filed with the chief of police and shall contain the following:

(1)

The street address of the property on which the alarm system is installed;

(2)

The name and telephone number of the occupant of the premises on which the alarm system is installed;

(3)

If an occupant is not the owner, the name, address and telephone number of the owner of the property on which the alarm system is installed;

(4)

The name, address and telephone number of the person providing the burglar alarm protection service or fire alarm protection service; and

(5)

If a burglar alarm protection service includes a burglar alarm system or if a fire alarm protection service includes a fire alarm system, the information specified in section 18-164(4) or (5).
