§ 54-43. Preparation of garbage, rubbish and trash for collection.

(a)

All garbage, rubbish, and trash, other than that described in section 54-44, shall be placed in bags or trash cans for collection. No bag or trash can shall exceed 40 pounds in weight.

(b)

Garbage, rubbish, or trash, other than that described in section 54-44, that is of such a nature that it cannot be placed in a bag or trash can shall be prepared in units or pieces of less than 40 pounds in weight and placed at a point designated by the director of public works.

(c)

Tree limbs, shrubs, and hedge cuttings shall not exceed three inches in diameter or four feet in length and shall be prepared in units or pieces of less than 40 pounds in weight and placed at a point designated by the director of public works.
