§ 10-40. Violation of sections 10-37 through 10-39.

The owner of any dog or cat found in the city not in compliance with section 10-37 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding $200.00. The owner of any dog or cat found in the city off the premises of the owner not in compliance with section 10-38 or 10-39 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding $200.00.
